Inside unit
Mounting the inside unit of an air conditioner or air-to-air heat pump.
When the best location has been established, mounting the indoor unit should be straightforward.
- The unit will have a back-plate that is fitted first. Make sure the pipework can enter in the correct place. Use a spirit-level!
- The indoor unit hooks onto the back plate.
- For most units, the bottom is either removed or tilted away from the wall to allow the pipework to be connected.
